Oh and agree with pretty much what everyone has said on here. Some absolutely crazy rugby last night (The Super League Show will be an interesting watch!) but defensively we were outstanding. Dudson was immense again (the best signing we've made this season?) and for all Jacko's silky skills the guy can't half put in a hit and pulled off 2 or 3 tremendous tackles. Absolutely made up with 2 wins against Wakey and Cas and whilst I don't expect anything from Wigan let's just hope we put in a performance.
One slight downer is waking up after a very vivid dream to realise it was just a dream.😠Strangely the dream was as bizarre as the game last night and probably sums up the life of a Salford fan!😂

From Cas Forum - Ho Ho
`Olpherts looks a great signing though...not ](*,)`
`Like I thought second time I saw him shocking in defence how anyone can look at Olpherts and think it would be a good idea to bring him to the club is another thing I can't get my head round`
`Can some one tell me why we have not retained minkin yet have signed olpherts?`

I’m just chuffed he’s gonna be off our books, not SL standard. Hopefully sio is back soon and chamberlain can come back before end of season coz we’re playing with a centre and a substandard payer on the wings currently. Surely MR would agree with giving Dudson a go there

Bit of a concern about Mossop didn’t look good, bit thin on the ground up front. Maybe bring Murray back? Although thought Lannon played well
Excellent game all round last night, daft mistakes aside we bossed it

Well deserved win.
Thought Cas were poor and didn't really create anything all night. Our silly mistakes have gifted them their points. Feared the worst after that bizarre try right on half time but credit to our lads, they're heads didn't drop and we came on strong 2nd half. Solid in defence and Dudson is proving to be some signing.

We did our best to throw it away. Poor handling by Olpherts in particular but also Bibby with a couple of clangers give them the opening for 2 of their tries and then that horrific one before half time - 8 points up, hooters gone, just take the tackle man!
But the effort in defence to keep them scoreless in the second half was absolutely incredible. We ran out of subs with 15 minutes to go so it was an unreal effort to do that.
Hard to pick out individuals in that kind of display but Lui was brilliant in A and D (playing for a contract?), Hastings showed his class, Inu was great (that drop out!). The forwards all impressed. Good to see Lannon back out there. He’s bulked up and went well. Tomkins set a really solid early platform. Lussick was his usual awesome self when he came on, his break led to our last try). I can see why Dudson got mom, massive from him. Bit worried to see Moose limp off. We always miss him.
All in all an excellent win. If we needed to win dirty and win a close game - last night was it

Am away in the home of the original Red Devils (in an emergency) so I've missed today's game but have I missed Agent Olpherts? I’ll answer your question MR! Olpherts dropped a really easy bomb under no pressuret. He then dropped the ball in the tackle after making a decent run and they got the ball and scored that tackle. I’ve been supportive of Olpherts but I think he’s had all the chances (and more) he needs and it’s time for Johnson to take his place

Even though it seemed like we were trying to throw it away at times, it was a pretty solid win overall, and I don't think Cas had much of a sniff at all barring the mistakes leading to tries. Onwards and upwards, hope we can keep this run going.

Can any tech genius see if they can find a video of the highlights I can watch in Belgium?
Everyone I feel bd says not supported in my region.

Just found them.
That 1st try if it was the NRL and Tedesco, RTS or any of the other superstars showed the skills Evalds did the media over there would be creaming, the flick from RL. was sublime and then the little single handed knock back to himself by Evalds was dreamy.
Welham wants shooting, sorry but that was an unacceptable brain fart. The highlights I watched didn't show what Olpherts did so if it was worse it must have been a shocker.
I'll be honest think we were lucky to have 1 try not chalked of for a blatant shepherd. But how many over the season have been given against us.

The Olpherts first knock on was nothing special just the usual ball kicked to his corner and he droppped it. Bibby tried to pick up a bouncing ball near his own line instead of trapping it with his foot.
Hope it will be the last time we see Olpherts dropping a ball in a Salford shirt.

Re welham, what it doesn’t show on the highlights is the madness before we got the ball, kick hitting post, cas getting ball and knocking on, easy in hindsight to stick it up the jumper but we’d scored the Evalds try off throwing it around so I can see why they got carried away. Thankfully it didn’t matter! . Welham had another good game in my opinion, never been his biggest fan but he’s been solid
