Much as I rate Murray this makes sense currently with Griffins injury and Flanagan ongoing issues. Able to cover 2nd row and loose forward.

Griffin is supposed to have a bicep injury. Having a scan today according to club. Watched him going off and it looked like his wrist/hand was hanging, hope I'm wrong though. Watson said it’s a torn bicep. Which could be worse than a bond break depending on how torn I think that is why the Lannon move could be a good one. But it must have already been already in train to have been sorted today. I think Murat has generally been good this year. But I do think he has been a bit off the pace in the last few games. I think he was one of the people who’s attitude Watson was questioning after the hull game. He wasn’t his usual self that day. I’m not convinced we’re much better served in the front row than the back though. Without Murray and griffin we’ve got moose, Dudson, Walker, Ben for the front row. Jones, McCarthy, Flanagan for the back row.back. With Burke able to play in either. I guess flash and Burke can’t really play 2nd row so Lannon gives us more cover But In theory Bibby or even Sau can do a job in the 2nd row. Not sure how much good going to KR will do for Murray. So it feels risky, especially given how moose struggles to play more than 2 or 3 games in a row. But I guess if you only have 12 forwards in your squad at the start of the season then you end up having to make decisions like this.

Can be recalled probably at a moments notice. Murray needs games. And Landon/ Flanagan could play front row/ 'middle'

Had it from a good source that Watto has let Murray go so that he can get some `game time` Not sure he actually fits in with his plans and has now been sent out a few times so its clear Watson doesn't rate him too highly unless he is being sent out to `spy` on other clubs...Sau to Wakey and then Murray to KR. maybe they are all double agents.
Cant blame Murray for going and he knows Smith from old when he was in his academy squad at Warrington.

Smith is just in the ‘shake up’ period at KR....seeing what he’s got and keeping players on their toes. Doubt Murray figures in his plans mid to long term. Good thing for us is that Murray hopefully gets game time at this level.

According to a family member of Lannon he hasn't really took to Humberside, And hasn't been at his digs in Hull as much as Expected which has been noticed by the Coaching staff at Rovers.

Lannon should never have been released, him and Murray are he future for Salford, we need to find players in the lower leagues and when needed sell them on for a profit, like it or loathe it that is our future.
I see a Lannon/Murray/Burke as the way forward @ #13.
