No not about us signing a speedster but some marketing.
Just spotted that we've had a leaflet drop where I live and it says something along the lines of, that there are 250,000 households in Salford and we need you to follow your local team.
Brilliant but sadly where I live they just got binned by people who obviously see it as just junk mail, who is behind this the club? Fans or someone else?

Not sure I've heard about this.
There is a bloke that stands outside Old Trafford before each United game with a hand written sign along the lines of what is said on the flyer. It was picked up by the club/players/Hastings and they made him a guest of honour and someone did him a proper sign. I’m on the move but will try and dig out a link. |

It is Steve Lang who has delivered several thousand so far. I met him last Monday with a fellow Trust Board member and we have just arranged to have another 1000 to be delivered in the next week. We will redesign the leaflet and have another 5000 delivered around the city over the coming weeks. If anybody is prepared to deliver in their local neighbourhood then please do get in touch with me |

Give me a shout Steve and I'll come and collect. On a serious note tho this Steve Lang fella is an absolute legend. Saw him at Moor Lane earlier in the season and told him as well. Along with the likes of the Supporters Trust and The Foundation we've got some absolute diamonds who live and breathe the club and it would be great to see their hard work and dedication pay off with a few more bums on seats. |

There's also a poster on the roundabout at Peel Green that a few fans may have spotted yesterday on the way to/from the game.👍 |

I have spoken with Steve tonight and he is in the midst of delivering another 1100 leaflets this week which is quite a remarkabke effort. We have a postie delivering 500 around Worsley this week too and i plan to be out delivering 250 around The Height. I am working with Steve on the design of the next leaflet which will not be timelined by having specific games but the remainder of the home fixtures on the back of the leaflet. I just wanted to call out my fellow board members Graham and Liz who signed up 18 new lottery members at the Wakey game which will benefit the club to the tune of nearly £1k a year. This is a fantastic way of supporting the club whilst having the opportunity to win some great prizes.

Unfortunately he doesn't do social media and hardly uses his phone, but I've made it clear to him how much he's respected by his fellow fans. |
