£22 adult, £17 concession.
We also offer the seemingly top secret family ticket of 2 adults and 2 kids for £44.

So whats the online price for? Is it as stated or do I get charged a booking fee that makes it the same as above??

To be honest, the online price stated on the website is bollocks cos it always charges you a booking fee and/or a fee to print at home or collect from the ticket office. It starts out at £20.50, but then these fees are added on. For the South Stand, it works out like a quid cheaper then paying on the day, if I remember rightly.

Been way to busy over the weekend to got down to the stadium and grab some tickets for today, got there with the Lark and was disappointed the £2 match day price had kicked in.
The same lady who would have been working yesterday (or any other day) took the same blank tickets and put them through the printer.
When I questioned why the increase for exactly the same process she said (and here's the good bit) the club insist we put the price on match day, when I said are you sure it's the SMC she said yes 100% it's the club.
A fantastic case of shooting yourself in the foot.
'Salford, nearly but not quite'

They don’t put the price up on match day. They reduce the price in advance to encourage people to buy early. The theory bring you’re more likely to attend if you already have a ticket than if you leave it to the last minute.

The theory bring you’re more likely to attend if you already have a ticket than if you leave it to the last minute. My point more is that I've seen the club say that it is the SMC who decide the price on the day not them, totally the opposite of what the lady on the reception desk said.
Either way it's a crazy system on a day like today where you might get a good few walk ups and quite conceivably some might not want to pay that additional price.

I get what you’re saying MR and I’m pretty sure it is the club who determine prices as that is how they make their money
I can see both sides. You don’t want to discourage walk up crowds and Paul McNally made some valid points about discounting tickets on match day to encourage people. But equally it seems entirely appropriate and sensible to encourage people up buy in advance and to reward those that do
I think the fans response has led to it being seen as a price hike on match day rather than being a discount for buying in advance

Can’t you ring up and pick up on the day at the reduced rate or order on line ?

Can’t you ring up and pick up on the day at the reduced rate or order on line ? Based on what I was told no, crazy.
Seems totally counter productive on a day like today.

Can’t you ring up and pick up on the day at the reduced rate or order on line ? Pretty sure you can. Otherwise you’d have to buy on phoneva week in advance so they could post it out

Can’t you ring up and pick up on the day at the reduced rate or order on line ? Yes, you can. But they still charge you a "something " fee. I bought an adult and a full price one for the south stand and it came to 40 quid. To be collected on day. And if you order online it's the same. I'm not complaining, just giving you facts. I've got a season ticket and brought a couple.
