19 man squad vs Leigh
Burgess Caton-Brown Dobson Evalds Flanagan J.Griffin G.Griffin Hauraki Johnson Kenny Kopczak Krasniqi Lui Mateo Murdoch-Masila O'Brien Sa'u Tomkins J.Walne
Carney isn't in the squad so I guess he's still carrying an injury. No idea why Vidot isn't listed. Any ideas?

You do wonder if there is a reason other than form/fitness behind Vidot being left out.
MCB and Evalds on the wings, not as robust as I would have liked as get the feeling Leigh will rough house any chance they get on Saturday. Pity Jones isn't free as I'd have moved Griffin to the flank and put Jones back into the centres.

Didn't notice Johnson was back, maybe Johnson starting with Evalds on the bench, that said would mean only 2 interchange props, tricky decisions against a very good pack.

Can't think when a Salford team last faced someone with 6 ex players in the squad.
Can't think of better motivation for Leigh, or hopefully for Salford.

Putting it out there, we will smash Leigh tomorrow!! Lads will be up for it, loads of ex Salford lads in the Leigh team...... couple of them maybe caused a bit of disharmony last year? ?? Our last game we were outstanding, their last game mehhh...... We are not a bottom 4 team and we WILL show the gulf in class..... Confidant rather than apprehensive. Come on the RED MEN!!!!!!

I would love it if we can smash them out of the park tomorrow. I love your optimism bigt I hope you're right! It will be a great day if we beat them convincingly. These Middle 8's are stressful and not good for your health!

Great optimism bigt. I do think your right. If we are on our game will win. I think Leigh will try and drag us down with underhand tactics and will target players like BMM and Koppy to get a rise. Keep our composure and hit them hard in the first 20-30 mins like last week and the game will be ours.
Really looking forward to this one!!

I feel that this is our biggest hurdle, but equally, I think if we are focused we'll win convincingly.

What ever the result this promises to be an exciting game of Rugby League. 32-28 Salford and at least two cards to be show in the game. Leigh will be fired up for this one, they've got a reputation of not playing for the full 80 but if they do it will go down to the wire, especially how it's at there place.

A win on Friday is vital. The initial optimism after the Huddersfield game has been thoroughly tested this weekend!

Was away for a few days and could only catch little bits of the 'action'.
To say I'm gutted to read the write ups by everyone is an understatement, how as a team we can't be motivated when we play our nearest rivals who are let's not forget in a division below. I always wonder when this type of thing happens what the coaching staff have said before the game, someone of Tim Sheens experience should be able to assist Watson and not only handle the squad as a whole but have a word in individual players ears with more private motivation.
I got a text saying that there was 4 video ref calls went against us, justified?
Also read that the Doc is not in the country hope that the players haven't been told he's off at the end of the season and they know things are about to implode behind the scenes.
