Hang on...
"...current squad of star international players" - though I'm fully behind our squad, we don't have many of those, do we?
"...beginning to establish themselves in the top tier" - we've been there a while.
"...constantly pushing for silverware" - I wish.
"...projected to make a profit in 2019" - perhaps there'll be enough for half a pint for the board of trustees.
IMHO, either we've an estate agent or a politician selling us, or it's another club they're talking about. It's not being put on the market by Oyston, is it?

I'm not sure that the ratio between TV and other income stack up for it to be an RL club?
We're effectively for sale though all year round so I wouldn't be surprised if we have circulated something similar at some point.

I woud say Widnes was closer to the mark and would fit with drop in tv income Widnes tv money not down next year - not relegated yet. Also get parachute payment which I think is paid from tv deal Its projected money not down yet but if I was forecasting I know which way I would go with it 😁

Phil Clarke made two references during the Toulouse coverage about there being a rumour about someone getting involved in financing Salford - an exciting prospect (or similar) Anyone heard anything about it?

I heard that, you'd expect now safety is confirmed that things would progress, the rumoured Chinese investment/takeover seemed to die a death but maybe that's what he's alluding to. It happening soon would be a help in retaining Hastings, Lui and the other players. Pity Koppy appears to be of.
