Excellent result today, well done Catalans!
I remember watching the draw for the semi finals with the Saints fans thinking they’d already got to Wembley. And all the warrington fans I work with (unfortunately) thought it was a foregone conclusion they’d be winning it, despite only a couple of them being bothered to go.

I see France's Main sport's Newspaper L'Équipe. Still has Cat's winning at Wembley only the 7th most popular story at the moment And there Geography isn't too clever !!! The BBC are no better.
Some uninspiring picture and wendyball results are headline newzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I think that there's still some residual shame over how complicit kick and clap was in the Nazi ban on rugby league.
I wasn't expecting anything from the French national dailies, but looking online I saw that Liberation and Figaro reported it, but I couldn't find owt in Le Monde or L'Humanite.

Olivier Elima put a very good piece on Facebook, which was from Le Monde. It was very fair and did talk about the incidents regarding The Forbidden Game.
