With most of the injured players coming back from injury plus adding our two new signings what would in your opinion our strongest 17 be?

On paper this team looks too strong to be struggling in the Middle 8s, especially with Koppy, Evalds and Jones back from injury and the addition of Hastings and Lussick.
When is JLJ due to return?
Do we still have Shorrocks?

Agree with the team apart from that although I’d be tempted to have Nakubuwai on the bench in place of Lannon.

We need to throw the best 17 at each game and not rest for the lower league teams.
As for Shorrocks and JLJ water carriers unless injuries strike.

After seeing the boy in the centre last Friday I would say he is the best centre in the club.Play him on the wing he would not get a pass he might as well sit with you and I.Just my opinion.

Surely Bibby is a better option that Olpherts and Johnson?

I personally would not have Johnson anywhere near the team. Seems incapable to catching a high ball and suffered a dramatic loss in pace. Think Welham in place of Olpherts as he worries me as drops ball in contact and play the ball a lot. Can be coached out though. Welham no pace for wing so have to move Chamberlain outside. If we can keep our back line organised then should have enough forward power to allow Lui and Hastings to organise and pull teams apart. Believe if we win 3 home games then the 2 Championship away games are then pivotal.

I’d go for
Evalds Bibby Chamberlain Sa’u Olpherts Lui Hastings Mossop Lussick/Wood Tasi Jones McCarthy Flanagan
Kopczak Nakubuwai Lannon Wood/Lussick
Murray Burke Nzongou Burgess Welham Johnson Griffin Bennion Littlejohn Shorrocks Brinning
Centre spot is Chamberlains to lose in my opinion. Olpherts getting better, too many silly mistakes at the moment and he and sau need to work out which one stays behind when one charges out to shut down a move. Lannon has improved so much this year. I’d be tempted to start with him and bring McCarthy on for impact. Murray unlucky to miss out. He has improved too I think but not quite at the level of the other 4 yet. I make him 1st choice reserve. Brining last as I assume he won’t be fit.

Don’t think so. He played when we were down on numbers I think?
