I don’t think people understand what a community club is all about. Non of the board members put money in they are there to oversee the running of the club and its finances. They don’t get paid for this( correct me if I am wrong please) and have other jobs to do as well. If we don’t get crowds then income has to come from elsewhere. If this means selling a player then that’s what’s done. It means living within your means so high earners have to go and we get bargains from the championship or elsewhere. To work it needs investment from sponsors fans and other revenue streams. There is no sugar daddy just hard working people trying to keep our club afloat. If anyone out there who continually moans about selling players, and no new players coming in there is a opportunity for you now to get on the board and have a go. THIS

I still don't understand it, what happens when Rossler has had enough or just wants out, - who decides who he passes control to ? -the club isn't his to 'sell' or transfer, it's supposed to belong to the supporters ?

Let’s hope he hangs on in there. He badly needs support from people used to running a business.

Salford RD Holdings is the trust that owns the club. As is, it does not belong to the supporters per se – perhaps this will change with some kind of equal share issue in the future – but the directors are supporters.
