Can somebody please explain to me how, in an entire squad of professional rugby players, there isn’t a single person that can take kicks? . Lui and Jones looked like they were a couple of fans taking part in a half time kicking competition to win some cash!

It is a strange one. Lui looks frightened to death to be honest when sizing kicks up... Even ones under the sticks 😟

Says summat when you got Jones taking kick off st beginning of the game, hopefully after Easter one of the new recruits is an out and out kicker

"new recruits is an out and out kicker" ... RL teams expect a lot more than a Johnny Wilkinson type can bring; we do not have the luxury of 15 players. If we bring in a player who can kick well, we need to replace a current player and so need to ensure the tackling and passing elements as as good (if not better) than the current players. Not an easy option.

Just watched Leeds/Cas. It seems it's not just Salford with goal kicking issues.

We’ve nothing to panic about then, once the RFL realise that Leeds & Castleford haven’t got a kicker they’ll abolish conversions.

If we could get Matty Smith back on loan for the season it would resolve two issues. One the goal kicking and two the organisation in attack.
LittleJohn can learn from him while he's here.

Yup win-win for both parties. Smith gets game time cos he's clearly 2nd choice at Saints and we get an experienced head who can lead us round the park and let Lui do his thing and play off the cuff. Littlejohn obviously hasn't settled but I think he'll be ok. God help us if he's another Liam Foran!😂

At the moment we’re basically carrying a man because he doesn’t look for the ball and he’s not even kicking convertions so I don’t see what he’s adding?? It’s a shame Todd Carney never worked out because he would be doing a much better job. It’s all easy with hindsight I suppose. Are there any other halfbacks around that could come in and do the job?

When you think who we have let go who would be doing a great job at scrum half. The more I see of Fages, the more I think what a great player he is. Off topic that. Well how about Sneyd? He can kick quite well!

He can kick quite well! We didn’t let them go, they both wanted to leave. But I know what you’re saying, either of them would do splendidly at the minute.

They need to do some training with Sharks. Our kicking to touch off a penalty is atrocious, we never seem to make more than 20 metres.
Would be happy to get Smith back though.

Can’t see Smith coming now we have the young lad from Wigan (who can kick). Plus Smith looks massively overweight. Agree that kicking to touch has been terrible- it was 10 yards a time against Catalans.

London Red. I take it you did not go to the leeds game? ? We made the linesman move up the touchline 4 times during the match. with our kicking. Some of the fans thought we had bought a leeds player at half time to be honest.

The only thing about American football Which is any good is that they have a Specialist kicker. When he Wasn't needed he could keep warm by doing some Cheerleading Do you know the best way to Pretend to be an American Footballer? Do a Celebration Dance every time you walk 10 yards without Falling over🤠
