Reports are that Salford are in advanced talks to get a match in New York. Turned down about the Catalan match because if would give them an advantage over Easter. Looking to play a home match there in say June.

Wigan and Hull made a decent amount of money from their trip so if it gets some money in for the club I’m right behind it.

Thought this idea had died for this season, can't imagine the trouble the club will have reimbursing people for the loss of a game.

I'm very much for it, just think it's a mine field to change a home fixture part way through the season. Can see it being a big money spinner for the club though and maybe some good publicity in the States. |

Read a report on Twitter that if we'd have been allowed to swap the Easter game there was a big concert lined up alongside the game and some pretty heavy duty official support for New York getting involved in RL. |

Is there a free weekend in June, where a fixture from another month could be swapped?

Bet all the postponements will make any swaps tricky unless it frees up a little time for others to cram a game or two in. I reckon they should get Bruce and his E Street chums playing as you just can't get more NY than that. And how many unanswered first half tries have Salford scored against Widnes Bruce? 1, 2, 3, 4  |

Also while I’m not picking Blease isn’t Chief exec any more Think NY and NJ is a little like Salford and Manchester, it matters to the locals but to out of towners areas will just be classed as Manchester or NY. |

Apologies yes it's in Harrison in the state of New Jersey, but very near lower Manhattan, which is one of the 5 boroughs of New York City in the state of New York (ie New York, New York)
For anybody who's been it's just across the river from Newark. I think the RedBulls Arena is a soccer stadium
