Thought I'd create this match thread as we didn't have one. Utterly professional performance from the lads, our set completion in the first half was superb, really put them on the back foot. Defence was superb and our forwards carried the ball well - Dupree looks like a real find. Thought croft was sensational as well as ackers and sio, still not sure about Addy. On to cas and kr who are in free fall, I see the Salford reds arising.... Was talking to a widnes home and awayer this morning and he was gutted to lose Dupree rated him as by far their best player this season...

This isn't the shitshow of coaches that we've had before though, Ian Watson excepted. Look at what he did at Halifax and tell me we aren't swapping like for like with the new and old coach? Let's also not underestimate the role of Ian Blease over the last few years.

Flash started 4 games last season in the league and took part in 14 in total including challenge cup. Without wanting to under state his contribution it was time to pack it in. I'd have kept welham for another another year lol but he didn't want it and high class centre's we ain't exactly short of, being replaced either by our best two players from last season or championship winning Watkins. They all have shown that extra throughout their careers so I'd not worry about it. Squad looks fantastic for next year easily the best I can remember balance wise and I'm frothing at the widgy to see how we get on 👍

Nobody has a financial risk on that Board BR. Bottom line accountants running boards are the bane of this country. (Generally those good at arithmetic but never good enough to be scientists, who create their own language to make simple things appear complex...you gather I don't rate them) In reality I always think the person,in this case Blesse, who really understands the business should have a prime seat on the Board, to arrest decision making from those who just see and manipulate numbers. Accountants should be servants/ advisors to a Board, not leaders. I'd better stop. Yes you'd better because you are talking with your cock hanging out. I'd better stop.

Sarginson is not a fullback. End of. Sounds ridiculous given we've won our last 4 games but its despite him making massive mistakes. If he plays on Tuesday and proves his fitness it is an absolute no brainer that he plays in the final.

We can only home nothing is signed with Leigh because he's definitely worth another year with us. Although the cynic in me might suggest his top form has only appeared recently. Wasnt getting a sniff early doors...

Technically, you are correct. However, you don't actually need the preposition. It is equally correct to say, "back whence he came". The modern usage is, "back from where he came." "Whence" is old fashioned at best, overly-formal regardless and almost obsolete at worst. Lesson over. Please feel free to ignore my rambling. Dear god we've had to put up for years with people on here incable of spelling "Tomkins" (adding the 'p'), Atkin (adding an 's') and the usual issues with "their/there/they're" "as/has" and you boring gits are discussing the merits of the usage of the word "whence".🤣🤣🤣 You defo must've gone to Bridgwater High or Moorside.😉😁 Anyways, must go, the beach is calling... hope you lot back home are enjoying the English autumn.😏 Anyway. 🤣🤣

The problem with that is any injuries and/or suspensions will affect the planning for the final. Both teams deserve a full week of preparation. Given the percentage that determines the final placing, surely both Salford’s and Leeds’ games could be cancelled. That would be the sensible thing to do John. So we know what will happen... Back to Connor Jones. Whilst he doesn’t really look like a SL player I think he’s tried hard in every game he’s played for us. I’m surprised we haven’t given him a bit longer to see if he can make the grade but maybe that’s a sign of how much/little cash we’ve got or that he’d rather be somewhere he’ll get a game every week I'd try like a bastard at 46 to play for us but unfortunately I'm not good enough. Evidently Connor isn't either. For every Greg Burke or Gil Dudson there is a Connor Jones. Super player just not quite good enough or big enough. Its the pool in which we fish unfortunately...

I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you but its difficult to judge after that. Down to 1 interchange after 50 minutes and a referee that was as incompetent as he was one eyed we were given no chance to win that game. The worst aspect of the referee's performance was how he tried to level the penalty count late in the game when we were absolutely gassed having been on the wrong side of every decision for 20 minutes. Thought our forwards went well and had they had the chance to be spelled would have prevailed but the injuries put paid to that. Thought Tui took his try brilliantly nobody was stopping him getting to that line!! Not too depressed after that tbh.
