No I donβt think we should rest cross against this game Hopefully, he's had a bit of advice on closing players down, but it's never been good for Folk's on Crosses over Easter.πππ¬.

100% bollocks.π Yours, A born & bred Salfordian.π What you aren't born in the Borough of Trafford !?!?. Out of town glory hunter. Here's a secret I do not like sharing. I briefly went to a secondary school that was the original location of your team, North Road (Now Northampton Road) Monsall. And the Newton Heath Locos stadium was still standing about half a mile away when I was there. Many people have memories of their not so perfect education. Seeing a Commerative plaque to that ground every day for 18 months still scars me in 2024.

Yeah sorry forgot about the amateur RL clashes, that'll probably have the biggest impact. Utd 8pm KO shouldn't be massive issue as most will watch game in the pub anyway after we've finished. Let's be honest Utd & City are our 2 biggest threats with clashes though and I'd imagine take up 80-90% of the "clashes". I've got ST's for both Salford RLFC & Salford City and we've got a few other Bolton/Stockport etc fans floating around that are affected but it's not big numbers. The amount of footy games I'm missing is a joke due to the clashes and Saturday afternoon really isn't a wise choice for us to play. I can't believe the club has chosen all these Saturday games though and I'd be the first to criticise them if they have (see I don't defend them blindly on everything folkπ). I'm sure London away has just been switched from Sunday to Saturday as well so that's f*cked up my plans for the weekend of 20th/21st April as well.π Saturday 20th April is City v Chelsea in the FA Cup Semi Final at Wembley , with United v Coventry the next day. If United & City reach the Final itβs on May 25th when Salford should be at home to Wigan! London v Salford was changed to Saturday, 20th, due to the London marathon. If you haven't got your train tickets booked, I'd do it ASAP, City V Chelsea @ Wembley that day, So going to be busy down to the smoke. It was a pity it wasn't Utd V Coventry on that day, Most Utd supporters travelling iinto London from the Home counties West Country Kent & Hampshire.

What is the bond for? Is it that if they get to the final, they forfeit the money? Doesn't seem fair, and a big disincentive to do well. Not 100% The RFL made them do it, and as we all know, they are a law until themselves

Halifax Town FC have called off their home game in the National League today because of a waterlogged pitch... better get the hairdryers out because Catalans Dragons have splashed β¬42k=β¬36.205 on a private jet to fly in for tomorrow's Challenge Cup clash. Also, Catalan had to lodge a β¬500.000 bond with the RFL to be able to take part in the Challenge Cup

The rumour / story that Burgess is being sought after by an NRL club is fascinating, silly and really comedic stuff. Modern Day Journalism, No actual facts, just some journo that's been told to fill a few online pages. It's fairly obvious that Sam Burgess will use his two to three years back home to cut his teeth as a coach, Enough time for his convictions in Australia to be not forgotten but ,put to the back of the NRL Authorities and the media down there.

I booked 4* a couple of years ago and the hotel was amazing. Tried to rebook last year and the price had almost doubled!π± Needless to say I found a lovely 2* Spanish hotel instead. Clean, cheap & cheerful and with lovely owners. Everyone that worked there was part of the same family, even grandad & grandma who were in their 80's!π Lloret has some lovely little bars/restaurants as well if you venture away from the main strip. I visited the Texas Bar the first time I visited 2018, the one with the massive TV screen for 5 minutes, β¬5 for a piss poor pint of San Miguel, the main reason I avoid the strip.

I've booked 8 days in Lloret (I love a few days on the beachπ) in a nice family run hotel where I stayed last year & flights from Mcr-Girona. Last few years I've flown via Barcelona but Girona is nearer to Lloret and pretty much cuts the transfer time in half. You've also got the option of towns like Blanes or Tossa De Mar a few miles from Lloret. Most Salford fans stay in Lloret cos it's cheap with a few taking the "posh option" to stay in Perpignan itself. No direct flights to Perp from Mcr so you then have to mess around flying from elsewhere in the UK or fly to somewhere like Beziers from Mcr and get the train across. Hotel prices seem to have jumped a fair bit in Lloret this year and there aren't many Air BnB options but you can find a decent deal if you shop around. Until last year, prices around Europe were quite reasonable, which was due to the after effects of Covid, 2023, which was the first year that the Great unwashedie:( Unvaccinated) were allowed to travel, it was enviable prices were going to rise ,The hotel me and 3 others booked had a exclusivity deal with a Russian travel company, So no visits to the Med for a good few years to come for those folks.

I know most donβt stay in Perpignan itself but we did and had a cracking couple of days. Nice and quiet until the game day. I always stay in Perpignan, cracking place and the only trouble is I can only seem to get there when Saints or the Rhinos are in town.
It's Sunday, so if you wish to confess Go ahead. Are you a closeted pie eater or Wolly Back, behind your posters of David Watkins/Paul Carige,Do you have signed pictures of Sean O'Loughlin or Danny Mcguire ??

In Round 1 Huddersfield v Idle.
How very apt after the performance of some of their players yesterday against Hull KR. Birkenhead 4-6 Werneth Also, if my memory serves me correctly I used to have a kick about on the old that was Werneth RL pitch next to the rail track , when visiting my Mother's absolutely Hat stand Cousin, I believe he once did a streak at Oldham RL old stadium Watersheddings during a game against Barrow in the 1960s, Minus -5 as was that place 6 months of the year.
And Radcliffe had an RL team, That would have been a good Derby if they were still going.
Round 2 Radcliffe beat Werneth 2-0 !!.
