He is on that for some reason, thankfully only on occasion.
To top it all he had Wilkin along side him.

Happy with Sio. Good winger which we needed. Backs looking better with Chamberlain, Sau, Welham and Sio as1st choice. Not much strength in depth though - Johnson, Bibby and Olpherts as cover. With Evalds as well that gives us 8 players to cover 5 positions. Another 1 or 2 would be good Pack looking weaker. Hard to be sure yet though depending on which rumours are true Burgess, Tasi, Nzoungou and Lannon definitely gone Strongest rumour is Koppy also going. Brinning and Jones are most likely leavers bybother rumours. If they all go that leaves us: Hooker strongest position even if Brinning goes with Lussick, Tomkins and Wood Prop - Nakuwubai, Mossop, Murray are only out and out props. We know Mossop will miss half the games. Burke, Bennion, Griffin as cover and possibly Dudson coming in (feels like a fairly anonymous one to me but In Watson We Trust). Given the lack of 2nd rowers too it feels like we need 2 more I think Back row - if Jones goes we’re really light - Griffin, McCarthy and Flanagan to cover the 3 positions. With back up from Burke and Bennion as possible cover (but they’re also neededaa props). Excluding hookers we need 5 starting forwards and 3 on bench. I make we’ve got 9 definites, 11 if Koppy and Jones stay, 12 if Dudson comes in. I reckon you need 14 or 15 forwards to cover a season. So another 2 or 3 needed even if no one else leaves and replacements if they do.... You could add Walker to the props....

Not keen personally, always seems to be a bit of a penalty machine whenever I have watched him and prone to a handling error or two also. I’ve just had a whip through previous Twitter comments about him - does look great.
Does or doesn't? - I'd have passed up the opportunity, personally.

Not sure where this has been mentioned.....it would beggar belief if we have, given that we invested a lot of time (and presumably money) in giving him the shoulder op...
We watch and wait.....

from dull kr board .....All rumours until its announced official. My rumour is that we made another offer last week for Lui. This was rejected by Salford. They stated an amount they'd do a deal for which Rovers met this week. Just a rumour but some rumours have substance as we all know. Hope this is not the case !!!! I suspect that one of the big reasons for Hastings signing was to play alongside Lui. Selling Lui would be commercial and team suicide.

Reports out that Wakefield who were interested in Koppy may now prefer Mullally of Leeds. Now I'd kill to keep Koppy, we need someone on the pitch looking after Hastings as he will be targeted every week. Is Koppy actually out of contract....?

On this weeks BBC Super League Show, Tania Arnold was interviewing Hastings about the St Helens v Wigan game and asked him what he thought of Wigan adding that he was there at the game. Now I may be overly suspicious, but when she said he was there, I red light flashed in my head. Fast forward to last nights match Wigan v Wakefield and Brian Carney during his TV presentation commented on Hastings future saying "He will be here in Super League next year. And when I say here I mean HERE at the DW Stadium." I suspect a lot of where Jacko will be playing next year will be dependent on where Lui is playing....they seem to have built up quite a bond and clearly enjoy playing with each other.......oh! and whether we can afford him.....

Hicks didn't even know Lussicks name. When he put him on report he called I think Mossop over and said 'him in the green boots on report'. Haha....yeah, I picked that up. I didn’t think he was that bad - just surprised how much pep talking he was giving the opposition.
