If he keeps playing like he did against Saints for the rest of the season then he goes with my blessing. He’s served his time and we knew he was likely to go. I’m not too worried about replacing him.

Anyone who leaves normally goes with reluctant blessings it's just the number and what that may mean that concerns me.

Gutted about Josh Jones. Even though it’s been well trailed I didn’t want to believe it. One of the best 2nd rowers we’ve had in the super league era I think. We helped him get his head and career back on track and he owes us nothing as he’s given his all every match. Still relatively young. I can see him getting international recognition if he keeps up his form
If the wage at Hull is to be believed then can’t blame him. Short career etc. Good luck to him. Just gutted we can’t offer hom the same kind of money

As with all departing players all I ask for is commitment until the end of the season, we don't want a Myler or Robinson situation.
You do wonder if any of them will be released early as soon as safety is guaranteed to save pennies or indeed to bring funds in.

Good luck to JJ. Always has given is all in a red shirt and I am sure he will do till he leaves. Surprised at him going to Hull but if he’s been offered the rumoured amount of money then I don’t blame him

Tim Sheens to leave KR at the end of the season according to the Game Caller on twitter. Will it make a difference to potential signings (Lui for eg)

Rugby League connoisseur yeah right!
So Tim'll be signing a ten year extension next week.
(This post is not to be taken too seriously)

I'd be really happy with Alvaro. He always gives 100% for Parramatta.

League Weekly has us linked with Ryan Atkins for next season. Has a feel of the Willie Talau about it so am not sure personally. Prefer someone at younger end of career.

Wrong direction - youth required and Bibby a far better centre. Atkins is a greedy centre - even more so than Junior.

Casting eye over the out of contract players in League Express from few weeks ago. Take Minkin all day long also Egodo. If we can keep Bibby then the below options seem strong. Unsure about Inu as not convinced about him at all.
Sio Sau Chamberlain Bibby
Ins ---
Minikin? Caton-Brown? Swift?
Would look to try and replace Jones with Yates from London if they go down.

I'd take Minikin in a heartbeat but can see him being in demand, think we've seen the last of Junior and even if he does stay I'd guess he'll move into the 2nd row (maybe a replacement for JJ), MCB for Olpherts any day (much faster and less probe to a brain fart), can't say I'm overly aware of Yates at London but can see them getting taken apart by other SL teams when/if they get relegated. Keep reading about the young kid at Bradford (fullback/winger) I'd get in for him ASAP as sure the big boys will be sniffing. Sadly though I'd be surprised if our biggest recruitment headache isn't looking to replace Lui and Hastings. Impossible without a huge cash investment.

Any chance we can try for the London winger Dixon? He doesn’t make as many yards as Olpherts and is prone to the odd brain fart (not in his own in goal area mind you) but he’s quick and looks a handful.
I wouldn’t mind Minikin but as said he’s probably in demand.

The first thing we need is a captain on the field. We've not had anybody who can really control things since Dobbo left. That to me is the reason we've lost about 6 close matches.
