Inu training with Salford as a trialist Not entirely jesting here.
Get the TC involved if we do sign him, Inu sponsored by Intu.
Got to be a decent angle in that.
I reckon Inu (like Junior) will become a top class 2nd row in the next couple of seasons and in Inu's case you'd think a more than decent #13.

Always seems injured, past his best and certainly not a half back. If we're short of money....Brierley or another half back.

Not sure if we need him but he can be explosive on his day.

A couple of things. Anyone know if Inu is signing? Also how long are Mossop, Sau and Johnson are out for?

Mossop out a few weeks I think, Sa’u can’t be far off full fitness (he is posting training videos on Instagram) and not sure about Johnson but he’s down the pecking order anyway.

Just read Theo Fages could be off to the NRL next season, he is stalling on signing a new contract and it’s rumoured there are a couple of clubs sniffing.

Theo been going well this season. I can’t believe he’s only 24. Seems to have been playing forever. Shows how young he was when he was in our team and why he was inconsistent. I thought he was fading at saints but he’s really stepped up this year. Fair play to him. Be interesting to see if he could step up again to NRL. Would be good for the France team for a few of their players to play over there
I wonder how we would have done over the last few tears if we’d kept Fages and Sneyd rotating with a more experienced player

While I think Fages is a cracking player I'm sorry but he is not NRL quality, reckon he'd be one of the players who go with big aspirations but come back after 1 year to carry on here here.

I never really saw what the fuss was with Fages. He was decent for a kid but I was pretty underwhelmed in general.
His kicking game wasn't that great, he didn't really have blinding pace and I don't really remember him taking the line on consistently.
In fairness I haven't seen a lot of him in the last 2 seasons, but if they are really serious about the NRL he would have had to have taken more than 1 step up in quality.
I cant help but think he would be a huge target in the defensive line just like he is/was over here, and some of the forwards and outside backs in the NRL would trample all over him.

Theo has improved vastly and is tough as old boots.

Theo has improved vastly and is tough as old boots. He looks like he runs in old boots. Would never cut it in the NRL due to this lack of pace

I think he has improved massively and could make the next step up to the NRL, behind an even better pack and with another good half. I wasnt a fan of just the bog standard drop off he did when he was with us but he has grown since us. I hope an NRL move does pay off for him because I think he has all the attributes to succeed. Well done Theo but also well done the academy you did a great job with him.
