According to Carter, Josh Wood should be back soon as it’s trapped nerves in his shoulder rather than more serious damage as was first feared.

Melbourne Storm are releasing Patrick Kaufusi, Cheyse Blair and Sam Kasiano I'd take any.
Any team that does get hold of Kasiano would be getting cracking player and you'd guess some excellent publicity for his size alone.

Oh and if Hastings does go at the end of the season I'd take this newcomer.
Actually wonder if Hastings might be a decent replacement for Maloney.

Saw all of these rumours and some denials ...
But if Hastings has to leave Maloney would mean we'd hardly skip a beat.
You're spot on about Kasiano too!

If only we had the money! It seems Brierley is still on and our only realistic signing. Apparently talks with Toronto about a release are dragging on which seems ridiculous when they owe us money.

He wouldn't be a bad signing and Watto is just what he needs.
And although I like TWP why are they allowed to sign Mullaly when they owe money?
We might be able to cadge a few quid off the Doc if the Pool doesn't work out unless we are to be the Pool, of course!

Brielys agent is the co-presenter of the Full 80 minutes podcast (he’s called Show Me The Money on Twitter) and he was very much pushing Salford as the best location for Ryan. Mainly because we have no cover if Hastings or Lui are injured so he’s more likely to get a game. I think the competition for places would be good for Lui who hadn’t really hit form yet this year (in my opinion)

You have to think that a move 'home' for Ryan would be best, who better to mentor him than Watson and Hastings and I'd also prime him to o a bit of GOB as a very pacey and skilful fullback.

Where ever Ryan's been they've tried to play and place him where he's not really suited, so he's never played to his strengths and not so much been learning as been overwhelmed.

Widnes on the verge of going bust - anyone we fancy? Assume Gelling would go elsewhere

Widnes on the verge of going bust - anyone we fancy? Assume Gelling would go elsewhere That big lad they signed from Halifax and the young full back looks a bit special. You'd think that dispensation will be given to teams already up to quota as they did with the crusaders.

Obviously don’t want them to go bust and hope they sort it out but maybe worth bearing in mind?

He got injured last week though- don’t know how long he’s out for

Looked very elusive and quick until he went off injured. Hopefully Widnes don't go under but if they did he'd be first on my list. Is Johnson getting the boot as he's nowhere to be seen at the minute? He'd be a good replacement for him.

It just jogged my memory when I read about Burrell heading to Warrington but what happened to the RU back ex of Saints we had on trial in the off season?
Seems Warrington really do know how to make the rules work for them, good move I think.
