I can see Bonitared’s point but when we’ve got one of the best hooker’s in the league I’m not too concerned. I’m sure Watson will change the game plan to fit the players. Maybe we’ll have Jones running at tired legs in the last twenty minutes next year? Maybe he’ll do a mid-game spell? Maybe Lussick and Watson think they can learn from earlier in the season, make some tweaks and have him playing 80 minutes? I look forward to finding out but I’m definitely not worried.
As I’ve said elsewhere, I feel much better about Brown now I’ve seen Tui taking on the line. If he can do that consistently next year, with Brown organising the team, we will be ok.

Next season's squad looks really promising. Obviously Hastings is going to be a massive loss, but we seem to have more strength in depth and it certainly feels as though we are building something special. These next 4 months need to get a move on! Idiots on social media and RLFans are already having us down for a relegation scrap😳 I like the make up of the squad and there is now definitely more depth. It’s scrum half I am worried about KB just does not inspire me and never has. I hope I am proved wrong but a young keen Ozzie or islander signing would make me happier. We can’t replace JH but someone of a similar style and work ethic would supplement the team so much Edited for accuracy.😁 It'll be the same people this season who had us down as relegation fodder just taking the easy option of looking at the loss of Hastings & Jones, then adding in the fact we're losing half a dozen other players who are pretty much replaceable (although I'll be the first to hold my hands up and say Griffin has been tremendous at the back end of the season and will be more of a miss than I thought). The fact is we've offset the losses with some proven quality (Sarginson, Brown & Pauli Pauli), some proven solid SL performers in the London lads (Yates may prove to be even better over time) & Atkin. Throw in a couple of "projects" in the form of Ormondroyd & Jones and I think we'll be just fine. I also think Watto may add a couple more faces from off the radar (assuming we have some space to bring in non-British players) We'll be hard pushed to replicate this season's fairytale but I see no reason why we can't be pushing for the playoff's again.
